Now that we have an official doomsday clock, we need to turn this place into a blockbuster action flick. You know, Towering Inferno. Poseidon Adventure. Titanic. That kind of carp.

:snaps that little black and white clapboard thingy:

Places everyone. . . . I need the extras running around. Good, excellent. Now cue the wind machine . . .

And *ACTION!!!*

"NO!!!! IT'S TOO LATE FOR ME! SAVE YOURSELVES. LEAVE ME HERE TO DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

(rk aside to Director: "Can't we work on that line just a LITTLE? It could really harm my standing in the TeenMags. " )

Didn't Dr. Angst or Prof. Satiate publish anything in this area?

Yes. When the clock runs out for those of us who have them, *we* all disappear. And our protagonist apple remains. The irony is that she being the only one without a clock, there is suddenly no one to talk to after 9 p.m. and she's left desolate to write melancholy verse for all eternity in "The Twilight Zone".

(You can have my last nice round number, apple. smile )

Bernard: "We're running out of options, people! Think, think everyone, think!"

ChickGrand: "There are always options, Bernard. You know about options, don't ya? We may have to . . . "

Bernard: "Go on."

ChickGrand: "We may have to *eat* someone. Not because we want to --"

:moans of disgust:

ChickGrand: "Suck it up, people! Look. We'll just draw straws, OK. I'm fresh out of straw, but I have quite a lot of piano wire, so we'll just have to make do. Then I will hold the wire in my huge, monster hands and we'll abide by the results."

KLUURS: If you don't go, you'll regret it.. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but soon and for the rest of your life

KLUURS: If you stayed here with me, you'd just keep throwing yourself at my feet, begging, pleading...It's so difficult...makes it hard for me to practice the piano.

CINDY: So, you want me to go?

KLUURS: Yes, I should have the first movement of the Waldstein done by next week. Go to your Estonia - and play like you've never played...

Doh! I'm not going to see how this ends, as I'm logging off now and won't have access to a computer until after 9:00. Guess I'll have to see the exciting conclusion when the movie comes out.

Kenny is ruining his hybrid's MPGs as he races to NY to profess his undying love to Bernard before 9:00 PM EST.

But he is thinking it will only take 3 tanks of gas to reach NY.
