And here I thought it was simply demonic.

I read the article earlier. It's a bunch of hogwash. The article is nothing more than an "if we say it enough, the dummies out there will believe it" nonsense.

It does nothing more than try to label ANYONE who disagrees with the Bush doctine, and Bush policies as "Bush haters". That my dear friend includes those on the left, the middle, AND the right. In case you haven't noticed, there are Republican defectors. This is something even Karl Rove knows, even if the author doesn't.

Sorry b, your attempt at twisting the intent of the article is off base. If one does not want people to think of them as Bush haters perhaps one should try and be more issue oriented rather than Bush oriented.

Anyone reading the forums here can notice most of the left's comments begin or end with snide and nasty comments towards GW and/or his administration. It is a truly rare that a political post from any of you focuses on honest issue oriented debate rather than why Bush is so terrible. And please note I did not say never, I said rare.

This forum is a mere microcosm of society. But dare I say possibly a fairly representative one. It happens here all the time. It happens in the rest of the world too.

I don't think that the Left can give us a rational reason for their venom. I asked BC Carey and Ariel and Kathy K. I did not get much of a reply. I did get some fear from BC Carey.

I was not actually joking about the demonic part. This past century has seen more unbridled hate spewed by the Socialists than could ever have been imagined. In that case hate produced the death of millions. Socialism always does.

The real fear should be that the Neo Fascism/ Socialism of the Left might become dominant. Socialsim has killed many more people than even war in the twentieth century.

You won't get a reason from them. They are so heck bent on bashing Bush it just seems normal to them. It's the rest of us who seem odd to them because we are not on their same bandwagon. I've occassionally challenged something said here and been meet with no response as well.

And that is what the article addresses - the unreasoning fear of all things W.
