Never understood why Saddam is locked (and hopefully judged) and meantime Gadafi is a guy that can be talked to......

but:
I can't put Saddam,Fidel or Gadaffy in the same bucket with a people (even French)
and I can't name those fellows "jackass".
and one of the reasons would be:
If the United States only dealt with folks that weren't jackasses, we'd never speak to the French again...
If the France only dealt with folks that weren't jackasses, we'd never speak to the Americans again...
If the United Kingdom only dealt with folks that weren't jackasses, we'd never speak to the Russians again...
