Remember those H stamps?
Instead of printing 26 cents, or whatever, on the stamps they just printed a letter.
That way the new stamps would be ready the first day of the price increase.

Well I found some stamps.
I don't know if they are current, 37 cents.

There is just a close up image of the U.S. Flag rippling in the breeze, and "First Class" is printed on them.
No price is printed on them
How do I know if they are current first class?

Also, I have a bunch of old stamps of unknown value, with those annoying letters on them.
Is there a place on the internet that tells us how much an A stamp or an H stamp is worth.
I tried the U.S. Postal Service's website and came up with nothing.

Perhaps the U.S. gov should form a comittee to discuss the proposal.
There goes a few billion bucks.

Call their 1/800 number, and they can tell you how much they are worth. I also have a bunch of those - the worst are the ones that you've peeled or cut off an envelope that you goofed the address up on, but you can't bear to waste the stamp. So you figure you'll tape/glue the thing on another envelope. But you never do...

Try this link on the USPS web site:

http://pe.usps.gov/text/qsg/q022.htm
This appears to show all the in-between stamps issued over the past few years.
