Hey everyone. I have been looking at this forum for the last few months'however this is my first post. thanks to a of you for sharing all of your collective knowledge.I have really learned a lot. Tomorrow morning my 7ft semi-concert Story and Clark arrives. Its made by the Dongbei company in china. Its basically the same piano as the Nordiska. I was so impressed with the tone and touch for the price. I LOVE IT. As defined by Larry Fine' these grands utilize a focused beam structure that concentrates the pianos structural support toward the nose flange of the plate'a design used by Steinway and others that is thought to increasethe tonal projection of the instrument by making the frame more rigid.Larry Fine also says the 7 ft grand has especially goood sound and touch. He says the best yet on a chinese-made piano. I could not agree with him more.I also got the pianomation player system. Its a lot of piano for the money. It was purchased from Brian at Atlantic music in Melbourne fla. He has been praised many times on this form for his great way of doing business. Knowledgable and never pushy. Ive bought from him before and it's always a pleasure. I know I'm rambling but just very excited. Hope i can sleep tonight!

Thanks monica Ill make sure i take pictures.

Also Norbert thanks to you. Its great to be alive. I have come to very much respect both yours and Monicas opinions and advise. I was looking back on some of your old posts.
What you said about the chinese market has now come to past. Would i have wanted a Steinway or some other higher tierd piano? YES!'
But my budget would not allow for that. That being said i would not trade the sound touch and tone of this piano for other higher priced Japanese pianos that i have played. For the price i paid i am convinced i could not have done better. The attention to detail in this piano is incredible and usually seen on much higher priced pianos. STILL NOT ABLE TO SLEEP! Maybe ill go camp out on the floor where it will be set up in the am.HEHE!
