wzkit, the fallboard looks gorgeous. It is a little dark but I lightened it up on Photoshop to see it. For some reason I thought you were only getting the cheekblocks in walnut. Very beautiful. Did you order the hygrometer as well? or is this a "seasoned for the destination" option? Can't wait to see pictures of it setup. Regards Gene

Wzkit,
Those are really great pictures. The worker, in the last picture, on the right looks like he's ready to pass out!

There's NO WAY I would be able to watch them carry that piano up and around 24 sharp turns. Has your blood pressure and pulse rate returned to normal yet?
Great pics...

Regards Gene Yes, both cheekblocks had walnut inlays (somewhat like the walnut inlay on the music desk). The hygrometer was ordered. Just love that fallboard! Check out my new pics!

John I would too, if I were him! I was kidding with them, saying that carrying the piano up 24 stories was just like a combat engineer's job in the Army (especially during bridging operations). He said, "No, this is worse! You can just throw the bridge around, but you can't throw this piano around!" . Those days in the army...

My it's so beautiful ... That's exactly the finish I wanted for my Delta. I'm hoping Norbert will bequeath to me an Omega in this finish when he retires

Derick Indeed..I gave up watching after the 12th floor, and decided it would be better for me to just wait for them back on the 24th floor. That way, they wouldn't be disturbed by my incessant clicking, and I would not be die of a heart attack in the process!

At 24 flights that could get into some serious money! (Were your elevators too small to accommodate that piano standing upright on the front end?) Congratulations!
