maybe someday i can show you the score that now is only in paper. Maybe i'll write it on sibelius to send it to a contest to see if it can be performed on a new-music festival (called politempo). Im not sure if it will ever be played, but i don't care.

yes, thank id love to see the score. I hope your work gets into the contest. Seeing your excitement makes me feel happy. Yes, i like your attitude towards it being played or not- its your hadwork, thats what matter. If it gets played, good, If not, its a proof of your musical abilities.

In what manner of style is this string quartet of yours, more like Franck, or Haydn or Beethoven or Bartok or .....just curious?

Sorry just realized how limiting my choices were lol, ofcourse it could also be a modern or avant garde atonal work unlike those mentioned

Oh and, if you don't think it will ever be played then make a two piano sonata arrangement and play it with someone, or at least as a way to bring attention to it, and then maybe if people like it you can unleash the real version on them.

I've talked to Danor about it and my impression was that it's pretty modern, i.e., uses effects that only string instruments can really produce. It would be like arranging Lux Auturna for piano.

it has a lot of influence from ligeti's micropolyphony, also phase music. It has a lot of things. But mainly it has some very mechanical sections and clockwork like, in contrast with some contemplative scenes of static harmony and chromatic movement of voices. I don`t know how to explain it...
