A friend and I went into Downtown Seattle yesterday to visit the Columbia Tower Observation Deck. (The Columbia Tower is Washington States tallest building. When it was built (completed in 1984), it was it was the tallest building west of the Mississippi. 76 Floors, 943 ft. tall). Any way, when we got there, the observation deck was closed for security reasons. They told us that it has been closed ever since
September 11. It is not yet know when it will be reopened. So then we went to the Smith Tower (former tallest building west of the Mississippi) and its observation deck was also closed. This is just one of the very small effects that has hit since September 11. A rather silly one if you ask me.
