hi.

Im learning to play piano, but I only have one little keyboard.

I was informed that I need a 88 weighted keys piano, but my problem is I have little money.

So, which digital piano is the cheapest, but has 88 weighted keys and is appropriate for serious learning?

Casio Privia PX110.

You can get them brand new for less than $400.

If you want to go cheaper, you have to go used.

Hi,
I'm in a similar position as you are I guess. I have almost decided on purchasing Casio CDP-100. It's supposed to have the same keyboard action as px-110. Except on px-110 it seems to have somewhat better insulation. CDP-100 is a bit noisier. The sound is also not as good as px-110 but it's considerably cheaper too.

Near The Hague, The Netherland...
Hi,

A couple of days ago I bought an Yamaha P70. It's in the same price range (Here in The Netherlands) as the Casio-PX110.

I've chosen the Yamaha above the Casio because the sound is in my opinion warmer. Also the touch of the keyboard is more realistic.

After all it is a real personal choise, it is really something what YOU want...

I have the PX-110 and I really like it. I've had it for a little over a year now. Bought it when I decided to teach myself to play. It's a nice DP. Very nice touch, ok sound. Go to the store and play around with them.

Casio makes 'em cheap. Best bang for the buck, imo, and a good place to start. You can grow into it and not think about upgrading till you're quite accomplished.
