After months of researching and test driving I finally decided on the Kawai CP177D. On my short list was the Yamaha CVP307/309 and the Roland KM107/115. All are great instuments but the Kawai sold me because of it's feel. Price was also a concern, and the Kawai dealer was willing to deal (a lot).
Thanks to this forum, especially the Kawai fanatics, for helping me decide.
FYI - I bought it from Park Llafet @ Hollywood Music in Portland, OR 503 595 4874
If you are looking for a great deal on a Kawai, give him a call

Do they have MP8s????? I've been looking for MP8s in Seattle. From my searching on the internet/telephone, I could not find anyone in Seattle, Tacoma, Portland, or Vancouver BC that sold them. If they have them in Portland I might make the 2 hour trek.

Anyway, congrats on the purchase!

Charlie - I talked to Park @ HOllywood Music. They don't carry Kawai stage pianos. They sell for $1999 on Musiciansfriend.com but you probably want to at least try one first. Park thought that PortlandMusicCompany might have them Any way good luck in your search

Petsounds - Great choice and congrats. What price did you pay for your CP177? I am getting ready to get one and trying to figure out what my target should be.
