I bought my Roland FP-4 about a month ago trading in my Korg SP250 which had a right speaker out.

I just noticed yesterday that the FP4 has 3 or 4 notes causing speaker buzz--but not consistently and not every time I turn it on.

D above middle C with the 2 black notes around it.
B-2 octaves below C, and bottom E.

Testing it with headphones there is nothing wrong with the sound. I pulled one acoustic panel from behind my Everett upright (which mellows out my acoustic piano) and tried placing it behind the right speaker when it was buzzing and the buzzing sound wasn't as loud.

I have been turning the speaker button off using Akoustik Piano and then turning the speakers back on. --This doesn't happen every time I'm playing the FP-4, but it is annoying when it does occur. Are there issues with this?

Joangolfing ,I have an fp4 and I noticed some noise from certain keys when the reverb is on. When I take off the reverb there is no noise, also the first fp4 I purchase was making wierd noises on a couple of keys when I purchased it and they gradually got worse. I took it back to sam ash and they replaced it free because I hadn,t had it for a whole month. Good luck.

Thanks Pianomike, I haven't been able to duplicate the sound since I first heard it. It might have been a vibration of something in the room. I will keep listening for it, but right now all the keys seems normal.

I'm still not having the same problem I had 2 days ago. I'm concluding it was "resonance frequency".
