What do you use to record your piano playing onto youtube.Ive tried a samsung camera using the movie clip but the sound is to noisey using its built in mic.
I want something quick and simple,so a digital camera that does not have such a crap mic built in would be the easy option if there is one on the market.

My mobile phones video clip has better sound for recording than my camera,so you would think there should be a much better quality mic built into a half decent camera.

you can also try recording sound and view separately and then use some simple program to synchronize them - it seems to be cheaper way than buying expensive camera.

a good camcorder will do. a regular digital camera can record a movie clip but the sound quality isn't usually that good. my sony HD camcorder's mic is good, and i used it to record some of my teacher's performance, and then i could transfer it to PC and use a conversion program to convert it from the mpg format to flv for youtube. it turned out pretty good.
