I'm thinking of buying this roland stage piano. I want a good piano feeling, but also good other sounds. This piano looks fine to me. Would it be a problem for me to follow piano lessons on a acoustic piano and play on the roland at home to study? I can imagine that the feeling is different.

I did a lot of teaching years ago and noticed a big difference between students relating to their access to acoustic pianos. Admittedly, this was a while ago and some used truly awful toys without hammer action. It's a bit like trying to learn to fly a plane using MS simulaor and joystick, you get the general idea what you need to do but inadequate feedback prevents you from learning about subtlety.
Of course, it all depends on what music you intend to play. A good digital piano will be more than adequate for a lot of music but I wouldn't recommend it for anything like Debussy.

I have it. Everybody says it has a light action compared to a grand but i haven't used a grand or upright so i can't comment on that but it has a very smooth & expressive action in my opinion. So i don't think you'll have a problem but i recommend you to try it before buying if possible because you know this kind of things are personal preference.

I have the RD 300 as well as an old acoustic upright, and I take lessons on an acoustic. It is a little tricky each week at my lesson and I often will practice a bit on the acoustic.

In general I really enjoy the RD 300. I do miss a music rest, however. I had to buy a music stand which I keep behind the piano.

I bought a 300SX earlier this year as a gig piano - love it - as a gig piano. My "main" piano is a B, has been for many years and is in no danger of being replaced. The 300 does not play or sound like the B but for the price, portability and even playability its not too bad.
