Hello there,
Please help me to choose a digital piano. I was in the music store and tried several, I liked both Kawai ES4 and Roland FP4, but they are quite different in terms of feel and sound (through headphones). I don't have much experience with pianos and only started to play few months ago so I don't trust my own judgment yet. This is of course quite subjective, but what will be a better learning instrument? or do I need to look at other models? (I tried Yamaha P140 and did not like it as much)
Thanks for taking the time,
Daniel

go with the feel, and buy the one you like its action the best.

You can't improve the feel, you can improve the sound.

What they said - and if you need internal speakers, get them, though headphones can give you pretty great sound (or really great, depending on the headphones).

Action is, to me, by far the most important, both for enjoying "playing" piano and for learning and getting better. You can always upgrade the sound later, through sound modules, speakers, headphones, etc.
