Hi! Everyone:

I have been researching for the right digital piano, but with so many different models out there, it is such a confusing task... *sigh*

Anyway, as a classical-trained pianist, I am looking for something that sounds and feels and plays like a real accoustic piano. I don't need any bells and whistles except a MIDI in/out.

After inquiring from some salemen and web sites, I have narrowed down my choices to

KORG EC320 or Korg C1500
Roland HP 237 or HP3
Viscount Allegro or Concerto 500

most of these are in the same range for price, except the Viscount Concerto... However, it looks really beautiful that I can't help to put that on my list... :p

So, I wonder if anyone has any experience with these piano? and which one would you choose? Does any of the piano there actually plays like an acoustic piano?   [/LIST]

Thanks for your help.

Sabrina

If you really don't want bells and whistles, but just great sound, feel and MIDI in/out, I'd recommend looking at the Roland RD series keyboards. You'd have to purchase a stand and powered speakers, but you'll get better sound for less money.

Hi! Steve:
Thanks for the recommendation. ^_^

However, my only concern is that will the seperate piano stand be strong and stable enough if I play music that are passionate and powerful?

And which RD will you recommend? ^_^

Agagin, thanks for the help!

Sabrina
