What's the best kind of paint to paint the piano harp with?

I'm completely color blind and was wondering whats a good color as well?

I would not use paint unless the budget is slim and/or you don't have spray equipment.
Supply houses have gold spray paints that are ok but bronze powders are much better - available from the supply houses. Usually a combination of 50% bright gold and 50% deep gold will get a plesant golden color.
You mix the powder with clear lacquer and spray it on then cover it with a few clear coats.
Do some tests first to be certain that your lacquer does not react with existing finish.
