I'm going to attempt to refinish a Baldwin 243HP and I wonder about the "Baldwin" and "Hamilton" decals.

I assume they will disappear once the stripper is applied.
Is it possible to get replacements? If so, where would I begin to look?

I know the decals won't make to piano sound any better, but I'd like to have them there regardless, if possible...

Also, any other tips/horror stories would be appreciated!
Thanks.

Here's a place to check for decals... Piano Decals

FYI, the link will not work - you'll need to replace the *** with a 3-letter word for donkey....I guess there's a filter in there somewhere.

Here's another link (that DOES work)

The PTG has recently put online its entire Industry Resource Directory:

Just FYI, the cover over the keys is called the "fallboard".

You can probably get them from Baldwin, as well.

For piano decals this is the place and you don't need any other.

Niles,
Thanks for directing me to Decals Unlimited.
Unfortunately, they don't have either decal I'm looking for.
I was surprised considering the popularity of Baldwin Hamiltons...
I'll check out other suggestions and hope for the best.
