That sounds like a great website! I will visit it as soon as i'm done posting on the forum for the night.
Here are a few websites that I recommend you visit:

Piano Place: http://www.geocities.com/vienna/studio/6917/
Piano Page: http://www.serve.com/marbeth/piano.html

Does anyone else have piano or music related webpages to share?

BTW, why am I rated with 4 stars instead of 5?
smile

A web site that's not specifically for pianists, but would be of interest for Amy and some of the other younger musicians on "Piano World" is:
http://www.fromthetop.net/

Check it out.

Hi! Well, I recommend http://www.sunflower.org/~bhugh/messageboard.spm
This is the piano pedagogy message board which shows everything about teaching and learning piano.

http:www.practicspot.com
It has some interesting articles about performing and practicing.

There is used to have The Piano Education Page website where it shows very informative music pieces etc. But unfortunaely, the website has been removed after 6 years of operation...

Quetzal,

Is this your real name??? Or do you just like the bird (or the money, for that matter)? This is my daughter's name!

just curious because it's very unusual,
penny

BTW, that's "Kate-saul" for you non-Spanish speakers. It does NOT rhyme with pretzal!

Well, it's not my true name..hehe... I'm Chinese and i have a chinese name. But it is an unique name. I used the name of a bird so that I can fly like a bird one day...

I really like your daughter's name...

just wondering, is "dragon's tale" some cartoon series?

AAAGGGHHHH!!!!

I hate being asked about that cartoon. Yes, they pronounce it wrong! And it's a boy dragon. My husband and I chose our daughter's name years ago, long before she was born (and long before that cartoon hit the airwaves!). We thought we'd call her "Katie" to Americanize it, but my daughter is very exotic looking (and beautiful, of course!) and just looks like a Quetzal to us!

Sorry to go so far off topic (but it is fun for me!).
Anyway, it's not really "Kate-Saul," that's just how American's would pronounce the Spanish (I say, think of the name Kate and an old Jewish man!). And "Ket" is quite right either. It's something in between. But e's in Spanish are closest to the long A in English (que pasa, bebe, etc.)

Hi Amy,

That's an awesome idea !! I think it would be loads of fun to be on the show. Go for it!! Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

I don't know if there is broadcast of the program where you are (Rochester, Binghamton,?), but the programs are archived on the website so you can listen over the net. Let us know if you do go for it, I'd definitely tune in for that show.
