This isn't vey helpful but women Snooker players (or any cue sports) can have similar issues because to cue well you need to rub the cue against the side of your chest against the ribs. This keeps the cue straight and promotes consistency. This is why you don't see large breasted players at the higer ranks.

The corset is a very good idea, and not old fashioned at all!
There're really nice and modern designs, and it will add a gothic touch to your recital attire

Well, if all else fails there's always the old standby, multi-purpose, highly popular remedy known in the trades as "duct tape".

First of all, La Campanella is not a song... However, moving on, Champion, Lilyette and Wacoal (recommended) make good minimizers.

Seriously, a good sports bra, as suggested, is likely your best suggestion.

You can wear them over a blouse or whatever. Of course it's just a matter of taste, but dependeing on how you combine it, you can be very original (and elegant!). Sometimes I wear one with slacks, a white blouse and a tie.



This is a random pic. You can easily find designs heavily reinforced in the inside but with nice brocade/satin/leather/whatever on the outside.

Obviously, if you prefer or if the situation asks for anything with a more classical look, the sports-bra is the best option.

Corsets can be worn under clothing too, of course
But I'd suggest a good sports bra too. Duct taping it is going to be painful because you'd rip off little hairs when you take it off. And those plastic-reinforced breast holders might be too uncomfortable. But as a guy I don't know for sure, so might be better if you try it anyway.

It all comes down to the size of your breasts though.. It can only be compressed to a certain size without getting unhealthy/uncomfortable

To add to the discussion: Another idea is to walk into a GOOD bra store, and ask them for advice. They might have some advice on reducing width, even if they don't have a bra to do it for you. They're the experts.

Well, I can relate to that problem, being rather generously proportioned in that area. Forget the duct tape, and Phonehome's suggestion. I think I will try Auntie Lynn's suggestion---Champion, Lilyette and Wacoal.
