I have an old Melville Clark Apollo Player Piano that takes 2 widths of piano rolls. It has the date 1901, I believe, on it and we purchased it in 1960. Can anyone tell me anything about this piano or where I can get some information on it? Thanks.

Hi Phyllis,

Found this little bit of info in the Pierce Piano Atlas:
Clark left the Story & Clark company about 1901 to start his own piano
company.
First factory was in Grand Haven, Michigan, then DeKalb, IL. Later became
part of Wurlitzer.

Thank you for that information. We've had that piano for 41 years and that's the most info we have ever gotten. So, would you have any idea where one could find rolls to fit it as it takes two different sizes or where I would go to find out the piano's value?

I appreciate your help.
