I am going back to school, as I've stated in various posts here and there. For the next month or so, I will be taking a class in Database Concepts (swell) through the University of Phoenix Online. The classes, in the online program, are intense and extremely packed with work. I will be attending class for the full 5 weeks without a break, and the work includes projects, tons of reading (on and offline), research papers, and teamwork. I started class on Tuesday, and it will run through the end of July.

Hopefully I can stick my head in periodically to say hi, and to see how everyone is doing while I'm gone. It'll be hard not coming here first insteading of heading off to class. wink

See y'all in a month.

John

Good luck with it, John. Now you know how I felt the last few months finishing up my degree. wink

Best wishes! Hope you make it through with flying colors. I don't envy you in the least but I know when I went back to finish my degree partly just to finish what I started, it was so nice and such a good feeling just to be able to say I had a degree. When your finished it would be interesting to hear how it went.

Have you got a clean hanky? And have you sharpened all your pencils? Is your name sewn in your coat? Good luck! wink

Good luck. I don't really like the idea of online schooling. I mean, it's really antisocial unless you have a social life outside of school. Oh well, some people don't like a lot of socials.

Hello everyone!

The first week was a lot of work and a lot of fun as well. It's funny I'm actually enjoying this class. I got a 95 on my first quiz.

I'm still practicing the piano everyday. I put in about an hour when I get home from work, and eat dinner while doing my homework. Ahh - one of the benefits of asynchronous learning.

- AdagioM - The Mozart K. 333 is coming along nicely. I'm finishing up the last movement now. When I get time, I may post a quick recording up in the Member's Recordings for you to hear.

I really miss hanging out in the forums here. It looks like I missed some good topics this past week. See you all again next week if I can. I'll keep posting to the same thread to let everyone know how I'm doing.

Keep practicing your scales. wink

John
