Does anyone have any tips on how to practice this? The score looks a bit confusing. Does this contain polyrhythms in both hands (e.g. 2 against 3) and different voices that I need to bring out?

There are some places where you need to do 5 against 6 that can be tricky. These sections are part of a stretto, so I find when playing it you don't need to be super-exact - you just tighten up the tempo and rhythm, and instead of resting on the downbeat in the right hand you play the note and fit in the five against six.

As for the voices to bring out, try to emphasize the top RH notes in the second half of each measure, and the first bottom LH note of each measure.

This is one where some hands separate practice might help.

What you are is an accident of birth. What I am, I am through my own efforts. There have been a thousand princes and there will be a thousand more. There is one Beethoven.

Practicing this prelude reminds me of those Bach prelude and fugues which I practiced years ago.
