I am looking for a late romantic/modern (20th century) piece to learn for the next few months. Particularly, I am looking for a piece that is "showy" and fun to listen to for the general audience.

Does anyone on this forum have any advice? The problem that I have is that my hand span is not very big and I can barely reach an octave. I was looking at some Rachmaninoff Preludes and they look just impossible for my hands :-(

My skill level is:
- attained ABRSM 8 when I was young.
- recently picked up practicing again.
- currently, some pieces that I can play are:
- Bach Prelude&Fugue WTC #1 C minor
- Mozart Sonata K330 and K331
- Chopin Nocturnes

Thanks for your recommendations in advance.

How about Bartok 6 Romanian Dances? You don't need very large hands for it, and the end is quite flashy.
