Thank you for sharing Peyton, your Dad's voice is incredible!

On a forum where 99% of the talk is about piano (gee, I wonder why?), it's so nice to hear a talented singer.

I can see why you are so proud of your Dad (and why you Mom is proud of you).

Welcome Mrs. H.

Best,

Frank B.

Peyton,

The love you share with us, the love for your father, only increases our own celebration of music when hearing your father sing.

The beauty that your father brought forth is why we all love music. A joy, a life-long joy, and even in retirement, he will always have his love for music. That is inspriation to us.

Please tell him that he now has many new admirers.

With all thanks and respect for your lovely tribute,

Schubert's Ave Maria is one of my most favorite songs, and your Dad's performance is certainly one of the best I've listened to. Thank you for sharing.

How lucky you are to have such an incredibly talented Dad. smile

A wonderful tribute to your dad, Peyton,

Another reason to cherish his accomplishments now while he is alive. Once our fathers leave this good earth, there are only memories to fall back upon. May his influence inspired you.

Dad just died today. I just want to thank you all again for your kind words. He did come on line and read them all and it really meant a lot to him.

Peyton :

The most uplifting light in this moment of sadness is that your father did get to read the kind words that you and others said about him. Too often, words that are meant to be expressed are somehow overlooked in the rush of life.

I offer my condolences along with my wish that you will enjoy many wonderful, happy memories that your father brought into your life.

Kind regards,

BruceD

Singers are special to me. They're a special breed. Of course, I never met him, but I heard him sing, and a good singer reveals their character through their singing. And so I can say with certainty that your dad was a fine man, as well as a fine singer. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Peyton, may I offer my condolences on the passing of your Dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I missed this thread originally. I must say your father had a fantastic voice. Ave Maria in particular is probably the most beautiful recorded version of that piece I have ever heard.

I am so sorry. Please accept my condolences and know you are in my thoughts. I listened just last night for the first time and was overwhelmed how beautifully he sang. What a great voice. More importantly what a great love between the two of you. Remember, he is still here. The window just opened for a moment and his spirit returned to where we all begin and remain.
