Are they good? I just ordered a CD, but I have no idea what to expect laugh

(well, apart from I've heard his Clarinet and Flute Sonatas)

Yes. I was just about to ask the forum about one of his works (Napoli Suite). THe Trois (3) pieces, 3 movement perpetuals, and the intermezzi are good.

That's a big chunk of his works, but he wrote more.

Worth exploring some of his other works.
The Villageoises suite is a lot of fun and quite easy to play. Another relatively easy work is the Suite Francaise. His Nocturnes are wonderful but I've only had a go at No.4 "Bal fantôme" which is a challenge for small hands like mine.

Some of his Improvisations are excellent as well. I like a lot of his other works too - small ensemble and choir stuff especially.

I played his Melancolie once in my recital as an opening piece. It works very well. It's a sweet, beautiful piece.

It came today, WOW, it's amazing. Currently listening to Les Soirees de Nazelles, at the Cadence. I can definitely see myself learning some of these pieces.
