which one is the best fingering for a cromatic scales like the one in "fur Elise" or in "the flight of the bumble bee"???

The two most popular ways seem to be:

(starting on G - ascending)
123412313123

(starting on C - ascending)
13131231313123, etc...

It's easy, but the first one is faster. Much faster. I use them both, the first when I need raw speed and sometimes the second if I want better articulation. It is good to know both.
