Hello Im Julio from Argentina, I am an amateur player, but I can strugge many pieces like the Impromtu 2 of Schubert, claire de lune from Debbusy or some pieces of Chopin.(Now praactising the "butterfly etude")
I was just wondering If I can practice the Hungarian Rhapsody 2, or de 3 movement of the Moonlight Sonata of Beethoven??????
do you think i con at least manaje any of these pieces.
Wich one is easiest?????
are they easy pieces to play?
Which one would you recomend??
-Hungarian Rhapsody 2-liszt
-3 movemnet Moonlight Sonata-beethoven
tell me your own experience with one of these pieces???
how much time spent practising???

Both of those are highly advanced pieces, especially Liszt's 2nd Hungarian Raphsody. If you can play the Chopin etudes, though, you can probably play the 3rd movement of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. The Hungarian Raphsodies are very highly advanced, though.

Hi Julio! Well, to be a little frank, if you are "struggling" (I'm assuming that's what you meant) through a piece like Claire de Lune, I suggest that you not aim so high, as you may be in for a disappointment. However, depending on the Chopin that you can play, perhaps you are mechanically ready for say the 3rd movement of the Moonlight Sonata. The technical difficulties are easily overcome, and lie well under the hand. I haven't looked at the Hungarian Rhapsodies, but from listening, it is much harder, and I suggest you not try that yet.

Yes, I can play it. Basically, when I was learning it, I would spend at least an hour only on a section that gave me trouble. Before I moved on, I made sure I knew the section perfectly before I started another section.

i am know prectising the first 2 pages..
but i cant develop speed..because i mixed up all the notes.
do you think is just because i had practiced very little??
or because i dont have the ability??
besides the keyboard of my piano is very very hard
I have a Karl Schulze (vertical)!!!!!
much more difficult than in the stenway of the grandmother, dont you think??
