Can you thrust this source?
Anyone ordered something from here?

I have a friend that wants to order some Gershwin music, so I am wondering if it is a reliable source.

Thanks

Dino, yes, I've ordered many scores from them.

They're very reliable, honest, and fast (in the US).

Dino,
I ordered a few bits and bobs from them a while back and though it arrived OK, what with shipping charges it was about the same price[1] as ordering from the sheet music shop here. So I decided from then on to support a local business instead.

[1] Although given the rapidly-plummeting exchange rate for the American peso these days, it could work out quite a lot cheaper from there, especially for larger quantities with a one-off shipping charges spread over numerous purchases.

I purchased from them once without a problem.

Of note, I use PianoatPepper. I like PianoatPepper becasue they have free shipping. If you don't see what you want on their web site just send them an email asking for their order #. I have always found them to be great people to work with.

I use them often. The budget shipping takes a while to get to me though. I like when they have 20 percent off specials though.

I have ordered from them. They are very fast, because they are in nearby Emeryville. I think they are what used to be Byron Hoyt, the big San Francisco music store which disappeared a few years ago.

Thanks all.
I was asked from the dean of the faculty of music here to try to find Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue arranged for a Jazz ensemble, and Mozart's Rondo All Turca, so that's why I searched on this website.

Thanks all for helping out.
They will order it from sheet music plus.

Dino

I have ordered several times from them and they are the faster than Pepper - which is the other online service I use

If you are in a hurry or trying to save $, I have found an amazing collection of classical scores available for free download from the International Music Score Library Project:

http://imslp.org/

You can download any score, print it and be playing it in a matter of minutes absolutely free. There are more scores available here than you'd find in many good music libraries or stores. There are problems with new repertoire e.g. Philip Glass, or with very obscure composers e.g. Lecuona.

While I'd still rather go out and buy the complete Beethoven Sonatas, this is great for one off pieces or for exploring new corners of the repertoire.

BTW - I also have had very good results mail ordering scores from Sheet Music Plus.

Enjoy!
