Has anyone had any trouble with pianosupplies.com?

I placed an order there a couple of days ago and my credit card was charged twice. When I e-mailed them at info@pianosupplies.com (of the website) the email bounced back as 'unknown recipient.'

The phone number rings into a generic automated greeting which then goes straight to fax, so I can't even leave a message...

Anyone else had trouble like this?

I don't know anything about pianosuplies.com per se but you should contact whomever issued your credit card immediately. After you notify them about the double charges they will put a hold on the disputed amount.

Slow down and do it right.

kitaguy :

Let's hope that this turns out to be nothing more than a computer "glitch" in pianosupplies.com's system. Your posting it publicly here may also turn out to be a good move, to put both potential customers and the dealer on alert.

I hope that this all works out. Do advise us of any resolution to this issue.

Regards,

By all means contact your credit card company immeciately---might even be a good idea to cancel both charges. The fact that you can't contact pianosupplies.com is suspicious.

I had a problem about a year ago when I ordered a digital camera over the internet. I learned, shortly after placing the order and giving them my credit card number that the company was dealing with gray market cameras, as well as refurbished cameras being marketed as New. Furthermore I learned that the so called warranty would be worthless.
I sent emails trying to cancel the order, but got no replies. I then called their 800 number, and got an automated message and was put on hold. Never was able to get through to them or even to leave a messsage.

After a lot of difficulty I was able to get the credit card company to cancel out the charges.

Hope you don't have to go through a real hassle to get satisfaction. Gaby Tu

kitaguy,

I know the people at pianosupplies.com, hey wait, that's me.

PianoSupplies.com is a division of Piano World.
I wasn't aware the info@pianosupplies.com was bouncing, it shouldn't (have to speak to my isp).

The generic phone message is because I run 3 businesses out of the same office (PianoSupplies.com, Piano World, SEO Experts To Go).

Please send me an email with the details to webmaster@pianoworld.com

BTW, I just checked our credit card processor, I didn't find any double charges. The only way your card could get charged twice is if you hit the submit button twice.

Sorry for the problems, but I'm sure we can take care of it.

Best,

Frank B.

Hi Frank B. Guess we all need a reminder to check the right hand side of the screen. There it is, clearly stated that PianoSupplies is a division of piano World. Gaby Tu
