I was happy to see this announcement: "According to Branimir Pofuk from the Jutarnji List, Ivo Pogorelich, who suffered from an acute nervous depression, will return to the stage in June this year. According to the Unofficial Ivo Pogorelich Fanclub, Pogorelich will also record a new CD for DG. Pogorelich's repertoire for the CD would include Granados, Beethoven and Liszt."

Hey, that's really great news! smile

I have always been a fan of Pogo, and I have been waiting for more recordings. The DG recording sounds like it might be very interesting.

At first i REALLy didn't like him...i bought his chopin preludes CD. But the more i listened to it, the more i liked it. its still a little fast for my tastes, but i do enjoy his playing. good news to hear hes finally back!
