I need to order a collection of Christmas songs for a solo piano gig at the local Mall. I'm thinking of ordering one of the Dan Coates intermediate level arrangements. Are these any good? I have no problem sight-reading but I want something imaginative so that I can add my own personal on-the-spot arrangements. I value your opinions. Thanks.

Hal Leonard has a couple 100 song compilations that are pretty darn ok.. one religious, and one not. they are pianistic and can be easily enhanced. not too hard either. just bought one.

I have several of the Mannheim Steamroller Christmas books - people seem to enjoy hearing those arrangements.

Hey whippen boy, I've played some of those! And I confess, some of them aren't exactly easy, especially if you've had a few drinks...
