I noticed that Sheetmusicplus was having a 40% (due to overstock) of Bach's WTC part 2 available here .

It is the clothbound/hardcover ABRSM edition edited by Richard Jones with commentaries by Tovey.

I snatched it up and it just came in the mail yesterday, and it is an amazing edition. I was still working off of the century's old Bischoff edition, so I'm glad to finally have my hands on a modern edition.

Some noteworthy features on the edition:
- Clothbound with stitched binding. It is beautiful and lies flat on the stand.
- Interesting introduction by Richard Jones.
- Despite being completely re-edited using more authentic sources, Tovey's original commentaries are left intact in their entirety. In fact, the commentaries span a total of approximately 40 pages, followed by another 10 pages of Jones' critical commentaries.
- Fingers are decent so far, from my quick glance.

At this sale price, it is selling for about the same price as the paperback version. Now, I just need to wait to see when the Book 1 will go on sale (if ever!). laugh
