Solo piano - 80
Other - 400

Both in church-related functions.

Eeeeks! I'll be playing a little bit in my schools Christmas concert tonight.

Before I left, the principle informs me that over 600 will be there tonight!

I have played for audiences up to about 600 or so people.

Tonight I will be giving a concert in front of around 800, or that is estimated.

It won't be a solo concert, though. I'll be a soloist in a concerto.

Does it make any difference if there are 20 people ot 2000? I agree that the smaller the group the more nerves - after all the setting seems more intimate and people are more likely to be listening. In a hall of 2000 people, how many are really listening to you, or can hear you properly?

Don't get me wrong - I've been to concerts of >1000 people where you can hear a pin drop and cut the tension with a knife, but 2000 people is a crowd, 20 is a bunch of indviduals.

Hi,
44,000 at Washington Park in Denver Colorado with the Denver Symphony. It was quite a thrill I thought that couldn't be topped until 90,000 showed up for a Bruce Willis gig in Montreal. Large crowds have always been less stress for me than very small ones because at a very small gig the people who have heard you practicing all the songs are usually there counting your mistakes.
