Hi,

I currently have the Larry Fine book and it does talk a little about Weber and Story and Clark. I have also been on craigslist and been looking for a while with no avail to pianos in my price range.

I have been to local stores where I live and I was not impressed with the service or pianos. I am getting a little frustrated.

I am looking at pianos in the range of 5-6K

I have the following that I have narrowed down.

Story and Clark Model 165 in Ebony used (6 months old) for $5500. - No warranty. I can go audition this one and will tomorrow.

Weber WG-60 Grand polished ebony for $6500 new with 5 year warranty. This would be an online purchase therefore the only downfall is I cannot play it.

Although I have Larry fine book as a guide I would like to know if anyone here has played any of these at all and if you think the price is reasonable. Just trying to decide which one or if I should hold off.

I really appreciate your input or other suggestions.

Thanks for your time.

Dave

I wouldn't buy a piano I couldn't play first any more than I would buy a car sight unseen.
