Thanks to Frank! I started using his system to train on the walking bass combination. In good times I could only play very fast with my right hand; however, the walking bass has always served as a drag on medium -fast tempos and faster - perhaps due to the fact that learned quite early to play the Errol Garner style, where the right hand plays a cruel layback , and the left hand plays the shroom-shroom style, like Freddie Green. Two senses, two coordinations. Wonder what will come of this...

To be honest, writing a bass line for myself is like writing an improv melody - deadly boring! But playing the bass line with two hands is a lot of fun and comes out more naturally. Somewhere on YouTube there is a video of a duet of young pianists at the same keyboard: one plays a melody, the other plays bass; the bass line and feel sounds great!
PS - It makes sense to play the bass line with one finger of your choice: this is how the cat learns to always fall on all fours in any situation.
