I don't know what the scam is, but there are tons of ads on Facebook in Atlanta that have nice grand pianos that say--"giving this away to a good home". I'm not saying there aren't benevolent folks out there, but come on.
What's the angle? Are they harvesting data? And I'm not talking about junker uprights either.

It's the classic piano moving scam. I get an email version of this weekly.

Common scam. It's yours for the cost of shipping, they've arranged a moving company already (convenient!), it even has a website and business phone number. You call, give them your address and payment info, and you never hear from them again.
Btw, you also don't get the piano.

Ahh, thanks. I actually messed around with one of them a couple of weeks ago. I should post the chat. I told them GREAT, but I need a crane to get it in the fourth floor window. And I asked if their company could handle that haha
I completely forgot about that until you mentioned the moving part.
