I am trying to set up my Yamaha as a midi master keyboard. I have selected master keyboard under the midi menu. It successfully moves data to my sequencer or DAW (Cubase) but only through the first three octaves. Everything above the third F# is dead, no data sent. How do I expand the keyboard range to a full 88?

I don't know the CVP-203. But if it has keyboard "zones", or "splits", I'd check whether the top end of your "live" MIDI region, corresponds to the top end of one of the zones or the bass/treble split.

Also, if you haven't done a "factory reset" (if there is one, for that DP), this would be a good time to try it.
