It's Fun to Play the Piano ... Please Pass It On!
Being that I reside in the UK and a TV license holder I saw it, if anything to justify the license fee on a broadcaster I rarely watch anything on their channels but I digress.
My synopsis, for anyone caring for it, is that it’s entertaining in a slight whimsical/comical sense; where the presenter’s passion on playing the piano provides him a refuge from everyday annoyances like council tax and his search for others who share the same passion.
Its running time of just under an hr is probably just right, anything longer and maybe the viewer would be inclined to move on but worth the watch to put a smile on your face knowing you’re probably not too far dissimilar from the presenter.
Thanks for the heads up. It is indeed on youtube right now. I'm up to the part where he visits the musical genius - the king weaver part. It's nice that the host guy was able to meet up with the equivalent of Mount Everest (and higher) level piano exponents. He gets to see what piano miracles are capable of. The original title - I think - is 'The piano - a love affair' ..... not 'The piano: a passion'. But I think the latter name is just an update. It's the same documentary. Identical. It actually wasn't on youtube before.
