Is there any software that can process a Midi file and produce or print the Score?

There are many.

MuseScore is free: https://musescore.org/en/handbook/3/midi-import

But some manual labour is probably needed to get satisfactory results.

My notation prog was worse than useless. My playing was maybe a contributing factor so I have to do it the longhand way.

As I understood it from many years ago using Cakewalk. When implanting a midi into software one can clean up by forcing the range of notes timings to regulate and sort the timings out??? Then alter the ones that persist?
