Hello everyone!

This year I dove a bit more into pop songs and covers. And since I love Christmas songs and also jazz/ pop I couldn't resist but learn the chords for ''white Christmas'' from Bing Cosby. The chords are not that hard and pretty easy to play along to. I uploaded a video of my performance with vocals on youtube. I'm really curious about your feedback, kisses CP

If you intended this version with chords only for a sing-along, I think your choice of key of G is not ideal. Anyone wanting to sing the melody will really struggle to get to the "A" (twice) above the staff. Dropping an octave at that point is hardly ideal in a sing-along situation, either. Amateur singers should be able to sing it "straight," without having to make sudden adjustments for the requirements in the key of G.

It would be much better for a sing-along if it were in C major where the highest melody note would be D.

Crosby (baritone) takes it almost an octave lower than your Youtube and chord versions; he sings it in A. That might be a little low for most amateurs. Stick to a middle ground key, somewhere around C.

Regards,

Doesn’t sound like it at all. The singers are all off tune.
