Every year I volunteer at a fund raiser for the non-profit Friend's of ParSem.

They are dedicated to preserving the beautiful Parsonsfield Seminary campus (Parsonsfield Maine), including a 42 room Victorian mansion, A school with a bell tower, and the beautiful grounds.

The Haunting is one of their major fund raisers, with a different theme each year.
We turn the entire mansion into a Haunted House. This year it is called The Dead & Breakfast!

Many years I can be found playing (piano and/or organ) at the event.

I played 10/22 and 10/23 2021 and will be playing again Friday the 29th.
Parsonsfield Seminary, 504 North Road, Parsonsfield Maine.

This is what I look like in case you are thinking of experiencing the Haunting and want to say hi...

What do you play for the event. Probably a cliché, but Toccata & Fugue in D minor on the organ would spring to mind. smile

I improvise a lot, in minor keys.
I also play the Moonlight Sonata (1st movement) but my own arrangement (think Beethoven meets Keith Emerson (ELP) )
But yes, I do play the opening measures of the D minor when people are leaving my area and entering the Dead Dining Room, for their "last meal" :-)

Hi Piano World, I sincerely apologize since this is OT but I wanted to tell you that I sent you a couple of PMs about a month ago, which are still unread. Please feel free to delete my post in this discussion, thanks.

Frank - you're a handsome guy - but your teeth look like piano keys sharpened to a point!
