I made an error in my above post, the versions are E flat Minor and G minor. In truth I find the E flat minor feels far more natural, perhaps even easier to play... until you get to the "middle eight" which while not too difficult does require some memory effort.

Having now watched the video to "Disco-Visit" I rather enjoyed it.

It doesn't look too difficult, although we all know looks can be very deceptive.

I imagine a blurred, slurry version where the adjoining keys are frequently accidentally flicked and a level of "fail" scratched up to would be quite quickly achieved. Well, I might achieve it!

Clarity and articulation of the sort exhibited here might take a lot more time though, for a performer of limited talent and ability, of which to mis-quote Louis B Meyer, "Include me in."

In a way it reminded me a little of the Gershwin Preludes 1 and 3, and I love the Gershwin Preludes.

But I was surprised to see an error in the composers list for the jazz piece "Take Five".
Do you mean attributing it to Brubeck instead of Paul Desmond?

Yes, that's right. It looks like sloppiness, a surprise from so august a body. I hope they correct it soon.

BTW, having watched the original "disco" video I also believe the bass is a similar line in places to Gershwin's 2nd Prelude, so that's the full set!

I must try and get the sheet music.
