Hi,

other than my piano, I also own a pretty basic 1960s spinet which I sometime use to play baroque stuff.
Since it doesn't hold the tuning for very long and I have to tune quite regularly anyway, I wondered if it is - in your experience - worth it to tune it to the specific temperament for a specific piece? Do pieces sound better?

I know Michael Thomas re-tuned for every few P&F's on his recording.

Retuning for different preludes and fugues in the Well Tempered Clavier misses the point!

Bach was well tempered not equal tempered.
