I am getting ready to purchase Pianoteq Stage and did some research on this forum and it appears that whenever Pianoteq has a sale, like around the holidays, the Stage version is not included in the sale. it seems that the Stage version is always at the designated price.

As an aside I m getting it primarily for playing Jazz and Boogie Woogie piano. I like the sound of the Steinway D Honky Tonk and just need to figure out the second instrument pack to get.

Think you are right about Stage not included in sale price. Personally think Standard is the way to go for laying and morphing.

i was in a similar position to you recently. i ended up buying standard (during a sale) when i planned to buy stage (which was excluded from the sale as you've observed).
