It is L190 but I thought that was the only kind they make. Do they have more than one model in the same length?
Nope. Only one model.

Nope. Only one model.

They do make different cabinet finishes for the L190 and the other lengths but the components and design are the same.

You don't need to measure the piano, the model number 190 (meaning 190 cms. in length (or 6' 3")) is stamped or painted on the plate next to the serial number.

Surely, I'm wrong; it must be an optical illusion!

Regards,

Regards,

All the paperwork that came with the piano will refer to the model number such as L190, which as Bruce said means length 190 cm or 6’3”. Yes at some angles it’s hard to really determine how long a piano is.

The Hidden Beauty is also the same length, guess its the same piano except for the bulbinga finish on the underside of the lid, the music desk and inside the fall board. Lovely pianos.

Yes indeed it does. Mine was opened on the short stick in rather poor lighting when I was looking at it in the showroom. I was one of the only people that asked to try the Estonia. When I saw the bubinga I asked the dealer to fully open it while I tried it and 3 or 4 other pianos. I kept coming back to the Estonia. I would have bought the Estonia in polished ebony but the bubinga was the added cherry on top.

Estonia's "Hidden Beauty" is featured in all models except the concert grand (L274); all the other models 168, 190, 210, and 225 are available in that exotic-look finish.

j&j or one of the dealers can confirm: does that design include bubinga on the inside of the lid, the inside rim, the music desk and the inside of the fall board?

Regards,

Yes it does. When completely closed, all you see is the polished ebony. Unless I open the piano all my non-piano friends think it’s the C3. I found it particularly appealing because I loved the polished walnut on my GBK1 and the polished ebony of the C3. I got both in one package with the beautiful Estonia tone and action. Win Win Win.

Lovely piano, Estonia pianos always sound really excellent in videos and recordings. I still haven't played one yet, there don't seem to be many in the UK, but hopefully one day.

I don't know if they have dealers there. Most of their business is aimed at the US, where the founder lives. Perhaps you could hop a cheap flight to the Baltic and make a direct order?

OK.......did anyone else think the pianist and the bassist were the same person? For a minute I thought it was a special effect!

Based on this other video on Adam's channel, I'd say he was a quintuplet.

This is an Estonia L210 recorded with just a Zoom H5, incredible the bell-like attack of each note.

That’s what I’m saying! My wishlist on Sweetwater is never empty. I don’t own any synths or a fretless bass or a bass trumpet… and don’t forget all the cool microphones and camera lenses and studio lights that could up the production quality! 😇

Not a chance! 😜

I have a long list of songs I want to cover and I also want to get at least 50/50 to original songs eventually.
