That's not a piano, that's a Schiedmayer Celesta, just for the video mime. There isn't a celesta in the song.

Yes but that Celesta was converted to have Midi & hooked up to a Synthesizer set to a Bolin Grand Piano patch.

And that Schiedmayer Celesta was being played by their Keyboardist Benny Andersson

Glam and platform boots! Gotta love the '70s!

Who wore it first? Or better? Looks like Abba and Kiss both hit the big time in the early 70s.

Wow. To think, someone (video director? Set designer?) had to consciously decide, "I don't care that this is entirely the wrong instrument, this is the look I want." Pretty wild, IMHO.

I quite liked Abba in those days of the 70's and 80's. It seems so long ago.( yet it seems like yesterday too) I wonder if Scheidmayer was still making pianos at that time?

My piano's voice is my voice to God and the great unknown universe, and to those I love.
In other words a hymn. That is all, but that is enough. tre corda

They may have made some pianos at that time. I know Kawai made Scheidmayer as did I think Ibach, but I'm not sure when that all happened.

They might have made Pianos that were shaped like Celestas.
