There are 2 or 3 songs in this video, would anybody happen to know the name and artist?
I emailed them but didn't get a response.

Thanks in advance as I would like to take a look at the music and possible learn them.

I'm not sure but I'm not keen on the lyrics!

I didn't listen closely to the whole thing because the guy is talking over it all (so yeah, my reaction was the same as fatar760's!)

But most of it just sounds like jazz noodling around -- nothing wrong with that, noodles are good! But jazz noodles don't have sheet music.

If there's a particular spot that you think is a specific song, write the time where it starts and maybe someone can help you.

Otherwise, head over to the non-classical corner and get some advise about how to start learning jazz.

Either way, good luck!

There is a Baroque piece starting at 0:47 that "might" be by Bach (or one of his contemporaries). Otherwise the jazz stuff seems like pure improv.

Shame on you -- you don't know that piece? grin

It's the fugue from Bach's D minor P&F, book 2.

Kidding about the shame on you. ha
It's somewhat just chance that I know it. Many of those fugues, I wouldn't have a clue.

It happens to be one of my most favorite, maybe the 2nd favorite after the D major in book 1.

Thank you Mark C.

Anybody else have any idea on the jazzy one besides just chocking it up to improv?

The second and third appearances of the older fella in the blue shirt sounds like he's riffing on the theme from the movie "Laura," in a way that teasingly avoids breaking into the full melody outright.

I'll leave the jazzy bits to those less qualified than me, but the other classical snippet in that promotional video (starting at 3:18) - played by the child - is the Adagio from Mozart's K280 sonata:

"I don't play accurately - anyone can play accurately - but I play with wonderful expression. As far as the piano is concerned, sentiment is my forte. I keep science for Life."
