It's Fun to Play the Piano ... Please Pass It On!
Both were great fun to listen to, and it looked like he was having a lot of fun playing them! Thanks for sharing. With the cicada season upon us here in the mid Atlantic, I wanted to feel that the piece could also be evocative of these intriguing insects. However, he did such a wonderful job evoking the bumblebee that I forgot all about cicadas.

Someone should definitely compose "Flight of the Cicadas" to be played once every 17 years!

I was out hiking this afternoon in Northern Virginia and I could hear them. They're not deafening yet, but they're coming out.
Well, a few seconds beyond a minute. Hope you are not allergic to bees! So much fun.....

My piano's voice is my voice to God and the great unknown universe, and to those I love.In other words a hymn. That is all, but that is enough.Life goes on, despite pain and fear.Music is beautiful, life is beautiful.
I love how he is working both sustaining and una corda pedals alternating or in unison, but rarely each exclusively. I feel I’m watching an organist doing magic with feet + Fingers.

Really beautiful playing. The piano is no slouch either, Keith.
By the way, the 12 cases of matches arrived today. Thank you so much.
Well, it really has been the greatest of injustices that your company has been without matches, or as you say, matchless, for over a century now. I feel I can now redirect my focus to solve some of the other great inequities of our time.

Thanks for noticing. A lot of people I think miss the incredible subtlety and expressiveness that he brings to this music.
