I have trouble uploading an image.
I'm following Frank's instructions on http://forum.pianoworld.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/261304.html

I go to
http://www.pianoworld.com/Uploads/fileuploader2.html and posted my picture. Used simple name, only 4 lowercase letters, and .jpg extension. 91kb size. Pressed the upload button.

Then I get https://pianoworld.com/wp-content/themes/responsive-child02/404.php

>404 - Oops,
>Our apologies.
>Something went wrong, but we can Fix it Together.

Maybe this was to be expected as Frank wrote
>NOTE: The viewer doesn't seem to be working right now, but you will also receive an email containing the link information.

>You can pretty much assume your picture will be at: http://www.pianoworld.com/Uploads/files/
followed by the name of your file.

But my file is NOT there. I again get the the 404.

I then tried with the same name but with a random number as I thought maybe the file was there already. I now did not enter additional info, thinking maybe that caused a problem. Again same problems.

I thought there was a forum for technical issues here but I can't find it. Also I thought I had used this procedure in the past and that it did work back then.

So, how do I upload a small jpg picture here?

It's relatively easy if you are in the correct place.
1) put your image somewhere easy to find on your computer, like the desktop.
2) On the home page for Piano World, go to Forums
3) Scroll way down to Piano Photo Gallery
4) Click on New Gallery
5) Put in a title and some kind of text in the body
6) Click on the (very) small link that says Image Manager
7) upload your image
8) Save the post
9) Now go back and open the post, click on your image to open it
10) Right-click on the image and then left-click on Copy Image Link
11) now paste that into the box that opens up in your post when you click on the "Insert Image Link" icon next to the video link

That should do it. Yeah, 11 steps at least...not the easiest thing to use
I used it yesterday and it was working OK

I should add that you don't have to do all of this for every image. Unlike other posts, you can go back to the Photo Gallery and edit it at a later date. Just open the post and click on Image Manager and you can start at step 7 instead of step 1

Also, this works the best if you open up Piano World in two separate windows; open one to the Photo Gallery, then when you are finished, open another window and go to the thread you want to post in. That way you don't have to shut everything down to bounce back and forth between the two different forums.

Nope, no issues with it at all.
Took lessons from 1960 to 1969, stopped at age 16.
Started again in July 2020 at age 67. Lots more fun now!

There is a Piano Photo Gallery on the main menu under "Fun Stuff! - Parties, Tours, Projects & More..."

Click on [New Gallery]. Enter a title and use the "Image Manager" at the bottom to attach your image files.

Mr. Pianoworld specifically asked to post images for your posts also here, and explains why.
