Does anyone has advice on a simple reader to place on the piano for reading sheet music?
No tablets 900€ alike, but rather budget friendly devices

Not if your eyes are as bad as mine. Yes they are. Maybe I'll just stick with the paper version.

Try Googling for "tablets for music scores", prices down to £110.

I have a Lenovo tablet I bought for $90 about 5 years ago, it works fine. It's similar to this newer model. If your eyes are really not that great it's probably too small, but lenovo has bigger screens for $150ish.

I use a Lenovo Tab4, which has a 10" screen. It works well, but I wouldn't go any smaller. I think the Tab4 has been replaced with this model, which is about $170. I also got this pedal to turn pages. I like this version because it is very slim and portable. Finally, I like MobileSheets as the app to read, edit, and organize the PDF sheet music. Good luck!

I am curious why there is no android 4:3 tablets nowadays?
For sheet music reading, I feel 4:3 is more suitable. the choice is only ipad, and I prefer android too.

Also for a larger screen you could consider a monitor for your laptop. Suitable for some, not others.

Scan-score meant to read scanned score and display it for edit / whatever. I know a few people who swear by it.

This program is what I recommend once you find the ereader tablet you like. Ereader version is what you need. https://www.zubersoft.com/mobilesheets/
